Handcrafted in Indonesia, T-Lab's Polepole ('poh-leh poh-leh') animal figurines are made by skilled artisans. Polepole translates to 'slowly slowly' in Swahili, much like the hand carving process to craft each unique animal. By hand, each individual figurine is hand cut from a light, sustainable Albizia wood grown in T-Lab's own farms. Albizia wood is soft, non-composite and natural. Each figurine is then shipped to T-Lab's headquarters in Japan where it is hand painted and finished. These  figurines are light and soft to the touch for kids to play with, or are beautiful on their own as a decor item in your home.
